Donald Charles Kaye

Donald C Kaye is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years post qualification experience in auditing and the review of financial systems.  Donald trained with KPMG and worked with offices in Sierra Leone, The Gambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and the United Kingdom.  He has extensive practice management experience and is one of the leading practitioners in The Gambia.

Donald has considerable experience in financial management and practice, auditing, investigation and special assignments on major client engagements in several countries

Mr. Kaye is the only practicing Accountant in The Gambia who is both Certified Accountant and also a Chartered Accountant

 


 

Tajudeen Adegboyega Akande

Tajudeen A. Akande is the Senior Partner of PKF in Nigeria, and a Non-resident Partner in PKF The Gambia.  He is fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), The Nigeria Institute of Management (FNIM), an associate member of The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and a member of The Institute of Directors of Nigeria.

 


 

Aminata Bouy

Miss Bouy joined PKF The Gambia as a Trainee Accountant on 4th August 2008. Between that date and September 2012, she worked, studied locally, and attempted and passed Association of Chartered and Certified Accountant (ACCA) up to the final level. Having shown immense prospects for future development and in accordance with PKF The Gambia’s training policy; Miss Bouy was granted sponsorship to complete the ACCA’s exams in Manchester with Kaplan Financial in September 2012.

Miss Bouy qualified as a professional Accountant in 2014 and with hard work and dedication attained the position of Assistant Manager and currently, a Manager of PKF The Gambia.

Miss Bouy has led engagements in various sectors ranging from banks (one of the leading banks in The Gambia), hotels, manufacturing companies, insurance companies, as well as projects funded by very reputable organizations such as the Global Fund and Save The Children.  She has also been involved in project audits conducted in Guinea Bissau and Senegal.

 


 

Ndey Haddy Dibba

Miss Dibba qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2020. Miss Dibba joined the Auditing profession in 2017 and over the last three years has worked as audit in charge in various sectors and moved her way up the corporate ladder from a Senior Auditor role to now being in the position of Supervisor. Utilising her strong financial background, Miss Dibba is self-driven and extremely passionate about auditing and accountancy. She has a keen eye for analysing details, and also has the ability to assess the broader picture very quickly. Using this and her dynamic approach, she can use her expertise to help your company along the right path to excel and achieve its potential.

 


 

Omar Cham

Omar Cham a self-motivated professional, has demonstrated remarkable dedication and ambition in his pursuit of excellence in finance and accounting. His journey began with a strong academic foundation, culminating in the achievement of CAT Technician status from June 2015 to June 2016. Continuing his commitment to professional development, Omar obtained his Chartered Accountant (ACCA) qualification in January 2023 and became a member in July 2023.

Joining PKF Gambia as a Trainee Accountant in August 2017 marked a significant milestone in Omar’s career. Here, he immersed himself in various auditing and accounting tasks, steadily progressing within the firm. His professional growth underscores his unwavering commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Throughout his career, Omar has actively sought out additional training opportunities to refine his skills and expand his expertise. His strong work ethics, combined with his passion for finance, drives him towards excellence in his role as he advances from Trainee Accountant to Audit Senior.

With a solid understanding of accounting principles, practical experience in auditing and a relentless pursuit of knowledge, Omar is poised for continued success in his professional journey.

 


 

Sannie Hammid

Sannie Hammid

Sannie Hammid has a solid background in accounting and auditing, with qualifications from prestigious institutions. He is a member of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sierra Leone (ICASL), as well as a holder of a CAT certificate and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (UK). He also has a Yellow Belt Lean Six-Sigma certification, which he earned for his outstanding work in improving the processes of Sierra Leone Brewery Limited, a subsidiary of Heineken Company. He helped the company achieve higher efficiency in its core processes.

Mr. Hammid is a leader in promoting ethical business practices and transparency in the corporate sector. He has chaired the Business Conduct Committee at Sierra Leone Brewery Limited, a role that involved overseeing the company's compliance with legal and moral standards and fostering a culture of whistleblowing. He has also been a member of the Procurement Committee at ICAP Global Health, an international non-governmental organization that works to improve health systems and services in Sierra Leone.

Mr. Hammid has a remarkable track record of career advancement in the past five years. He began as an Audit Associate at Decker and Partners Chartered Accountants, where he acquired audit skills and knowledge. He then moved to the mining industry at Sierra Rutile Limited, a subsidiary of Illuka, where he worked as a Payroll Analyst. In this role, he was part of a team that managed the payroll of over 2,500 employees. He also joined the beverage manufacturing industry at Sierra Leone Brewery Limited, a subsidiary of Heineken Company, as the Process and Control Improvement Manager. He revamped the company's key control framework by regularly assessing and implementing controls. He also helped the business to develop policies and procedures for their core activities. Mr. Hammid was also a Senior Finance Officer at ICAP Global Health, where he led the operational finance team and prepared donors' reports. He ensured the month end closing activities are managed efficiently. He joined PKF Gambia in the capacity as Audit Senior, driven by his passion for auditing.

 


 

Alieu Cham

Mr. Alieu Cham is an Audit Senior with over five years of professional experience. He commenced his career with the firm in March 2018 as a Trainee Accountant and has consistently demonstrated a commitment to upholding high ethical standards throughout his employment.

Aligned with PKF Gambia's training policy, Mr. Cham was sponsored to study at Duke Williams Professional Education and Training in Ghana in 2022. This investment in his professional development underscores our firm’s dedication to continuous learning and growth of staff.

In January 2024, Mr. Cham achieved the status of an Acca Affiliate, marking a significant milestone in his professional journey. With this accreditation, he has elevated his expertise and standing within the accounting profession.

As an Audit Senior, Mr. Cham has assumed progressively greater responsibilities, including leading audit engagements, providing supervision and guidance to junior team members, and fostering productive client relationships to effectively address audit findings and recommendations.

His experience spans across various sectors, where he has actively contributed to and led engagements, demonstrating versatility and proficiency in navigating diverse business environments.
